Techconet Delivers Cellular Relay Solution Over 45 Km
In a recent project, Techconet has successfully implemented a cellular relay solution that extends over 45 kilometers from the nearest cellphone tower, providing a reliable cellphone signal to a previously unreachable location three kilometers away from the first cell signal repeater . This innovative solution was designed to meet the needs of a customer who required consistent cellphone signals on all networks at their remote office.
Project Overview
The challenge was significant: the customer’s office was located in the Karoo with no available cellphone signal. To overcome this, Techconet installed three cell signal relays. These signal relays were strategically positioned to establish cellphone signal to the required areas. Additionally an gateway router with LTE routers were installed and Wi-Fi sector access points were deployed to cover a large area, ensuring robust internet connectivity.

The solution not only provided the necessary cellphone signal but also delivered impressive internet speeds, reaching up to 100Mbps.
